if you ever think mythology is boring or serious business or whatever shit
just remember that cerberus, the hell-hound and guard dog of the underworld, comes from the root indo-european word ḱerberos, which evolved into the greek word kerberos, which got changed to cerberus when it went from greek to latin
ḱerberos means “spotted”
that’s right
hades, lord of the dead, literally fucking named his pet dog spot

Always remember that you are not worthless, organs are extremely expensive on the black market
My roommate and I just looked this up and your bone marrow alone is worth $23 million. 23 million dollars. So if you ever kidnap someone, don’t hold them for ransom, just keep them in a vegetative state and slowly sell their bone marrow on the black market.
Wtf man, I’ve been doing this shit all wrong.

I NEED HELP
Can someone tell me the order of the Index and Railgun manga.
I have no idea what order to read them in because there are so many.
And the novels are getting me even more confused because on MAL they are all under the manga tag.
Think of Railgun as a side story that runs alongside the main storyline. You can read it whenever you want, though chronologically it starts a little before the main story.
That said, I don’t recommend the Index manga at all, it skips around entire arcs.

You can read the novels there, the Index anime covers up the first SS, so if you’ve seen Index II, you can start right at volume 14.
If you want a better idea of how Railgun and Index interact time-wise, here is a handy little chart:

(Note that this chart only covers the anime-aired arcs, the railgun manga is an arc ahead and the novels are in an entirely different series currently, New Testament)
Happy Index-ing!

There are a total of seven Level 5 espers in Academy City… but it has become clear that only one of them has the potential to reach the as-yet unseen Level 6.
